Crews pulled a woman and her dog from a frozen pond in Edgewood on Friday afternoon.
After 2 p.m., deputies responded to a 911 call from a neighbor who reported hearing a voice screaming for help from a pond in the 12000 block of 18th Street East.
The caller reported she couldn’t see anyone in the pond but was concerned someone may have fallen into the water.
When crews arrived, they saw a woman and her dog were clinging onto a log in a frozen pond.
Deputies said the woman was walking her dog on the pond and fell through.
Crews went out and pulled the woman to safety. The woman and her dog were not injured.
This was the same crew that rescued a deer from an icy pond in South Hill on Thursday.
