Dog rescued from Arden-area house fire


A dog was rescued from an Arden-area house fire Wednesday evening, the Sacramento Metro Fire District said.Crews arriving at the home on Madison Avenue found heavy smoke coming from a bedroom, the fire district said.Firefighters quickly knocked down that fire, isolating the flames to one bedroom.The dog was rescued from the bedroom and was resuscitated by the crew, the fire district said.No other details were released.
